Toilet Bound Hanako Kun Season 2

Based on a Shonen manga written by Aidalro and first serialized in the Monthly GFantasy magazine of Square Enix, Toilet Bound Hanako Kun released its first season in 2020. Needless to say, it was a great success. It received positive reviews from viewers and critics alike.

Now, when almost three years have passed since the release of the first season, no new news has yet been confirmed regarding a second season. The fans have been waiting eagerly for a second season to happen or to know at least how much longer the wait would be.

If you have been such a passionate follower of the show then you too probably have been wondering when the next season due is. Well, there is no official update regarding it, still, we will try to articulate all the information that is available at the moment on Toilet Bound Hanako Kun Season 2. Starting from a probable release date to a potential plot of Season 2, we have got it all covered here.

What could be the release date of Toilet Bound Hanako Kun Season 2?

Toilet Bound Hanako Kun is based on a manga written by Aidalro. That manga has 18 volumes with 91 chapters. Only 12 episodes and 36 chapters from those chapters have been covered. It is therefore safe to say that Toilet Bound Hanako Kun is far from ending anytime soon.

The question now arises when will the next season release. Nothing is known as of yet regarding our next season. Given that the last season had been released almost 2 years ago, it can be guessed that the second season will be following soon, perhaps even in the first half of the next year.

The one thing that can be set for sure is that the anime series will continue for at least one more season if not more. The fans can therefore expect to see the next season happening soon.

What could be the plot of Toilet Bound Hanako Kun Season 2?

The plot of Toilet Bound Hanako Kun follows the story of Nene Yashiro who comes across the mystery of the Seventh Wonder, a rumor that has taken the shape of an urban legend in the school. In the third stall of the third floor’s girls’ washroom in the old building of Kamome Academy, resides a young girl ghost who can make wishes come true. When Yashiro visits the place, thinking about asking Hanako-san to make her crush fall in love with her, she discovers that Hanako-san is a boy ghost. A turn of fate binds the two, Yashiro and Hanaka, together.

The story thereafter follows the adventures of these two youngsters and the friends that they make along the way, as they try and exorcise evil spirits and maintain the balance between the world of the spirits and the human world. The anime reveals that there is a series of duties that Hanako needs to fulfill before he can move on to the world of spirits for good.

Since it is already revealed that Yashiro is going to die soon and given the bond that Yashiro and Hanako share, it is apparent that season 2 will deal with their adventures as they try to keep themselves and each other safe while maintaining their duties.

What is the expected cast of Toilet Bound Hanako Kun Season 2?

Since no trailer has been launched yet for the second season of Toilet Bound Hanako Kun, nothing can be said for sure about the cast. However, given the ongoing manga chapters and episodes, the primary cast is expected to remain the same as in the season one period here is a list of the voice artists that have given their voices for both the original and the dubbed versions.

It can be expected that the upcoming second season will most certainly keep up with this record.
