The plotline of Ginny & Georgia revolves around the relationship between a young mother and her teenage daughter as they relocate to Wellsbury.

• Antonia Gentry As Ginny Miller

Antonia Gentry appears as Ginny Miller, a young girl who moved to Massachusetts from Texas with her family. In the show, Ginny talks about her life, and she starts to realize that she is becoming a lot like her mother.

Throughout the series, she gets romantically involved with several people. But the ending of season 2 leaves her love life uncertain, along with other issues. 

Apart from Ginny & Georgia, Gentry acted in Driver’s Ed: Tales from the Street where she appeared as Sara. She also played Wendy in the first season of Raising Dion and will soon appear in the horror series, Time Cut.

• Brianne Howey as Georgia Miller

Georgia Miller, played by actress Brianne Howey is a mother and a highly skilled con woman with a troubled history. She’s been dubbed a black widow due to her unfortunate history of losing two husbands, the latest being Kenny.

After relocating to Wellsbury, Georgia quickly became a part of the Wellsbury community. However, her plans don’t always go smoothly, and unexpected figures from her past, including ex-partners Gil and Zion make unwelcome appearances.

Brianne Howey, who plays Georgia, has previously appeared in notable roles in The Passage, and The Exorcist. She’s also done an incredible job in comedies like Plus One, and Horrible Bosses 2.

• Jennifer Robertson as Ellen Baker

Ellen has twin sons, Marcus and Max. She, along with her husband Clint are neighbours with the Millers. They become friends with the Millers as the new family settles into the town. 

Ellen becomes a close friend of Georgia, but sometimes, their friendship has problems because of Georgia’s carefree attitude. Once, Ellen feels hurt when Georgia doesn’t tell her that Marcus has been meeting Ginny at night. But they fix their disagreement and go back to being good friends.

Jennifer Robertson is famous for playing Jocelyn Schitt in the popular Canadian comedy show, Schitt’s Creek. She even won a Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance.

• Diesel La Torraca As Austin Miller

Georgia has a son named Austin, and he is 9 years old. He has a troubled childhood because of his father Gil who has always been very abusive to him. 

To handle all the problems happening in his life, Austin finds comfort in his love for magic and Harry Potter. He uses these interests to cope with the difficulties and challenges he is facing in his life. 

Austin also deals with some behavior problems, which probably come from his mother, Georgia. In the role of Austin, Diesel La Torraca, who you might recognize from the movie Little Monsters with Lupita Nyong’o, takes on the character.

• Felix Mallard as Marcus Baker

Marcus Baker starts off seeming like a typical rebellious guy who’s into smoking weed, but there’s more to him than meets the eye. Even though he looks charming, it’s not his appearance that makes him special; it’s his sensitivity and depth. These qualities make him connect with Ginny.

Although Ginny is Hunter’s girlfriend, Marcus still falls for her. This leads to a messy situation where Hunter is heartbroken. On the positive side, Marcus and Ginny becomes a couple. However, Marcus breaks up with Ginny by the end of Season 2.

• Scott Porter as Mayor Paul Randolph

Georgia’s main love interest, Paul, is the one she adores the most. When the Millers come to town, Paul is going through re-election. Georgia, in need of a job, persuades him to hire her. Despite learning Georgia’s truth, he marries her.

Scott Porter is best known for his role in Up Here. He previously appeared as George Tucker in Hart of Dixie with Rachel Bilson. Additionally, he portrayed Jason Street in the popular series Friday Night Lights. 

Apart from his on-screen roles, he’s a well-known voice actor. So far, he has voiced many characters like the Starlord and Winter Soldier in Marvel animated series and video games.

• Sara Waisglass as Maxine Baker

 

Ellen’s daughter, Max, is quite dramatic and tends to be absorbed in herself. As a typical theater enthusiast, she leads her friend group with her strong personality. Max dislikes it when things don’t go her way. When Marcus starts dating Ginny, she takes it personally.

Max soon realizes that everything doesn’t revolve around her and eventually forgives Ginny. Despite her self-centered nature, Max is the most romantic person in the group.

Sara Waisglass, known for her role as Frankie Hollingsworth in the Degrassi franchise, has also appeared in Holly Hobbie and October Faction. She also worked in Cascade and is set to star in Suze.

• Raymond Ablack as Joe

Joe owns the local restaurant, Blue Farm Café, and he has a sardonic sense of humor. He first met Georgia on a class field trip. At that time, she was living with a biker gang. Joe is the reason Georgia moved to Wellsbury.

Joe confesses his feelings for her just as she becomes engaged to Paul. This realization leaves Joe feeling down, and he seeks solace in the company of Cynthia Fuller, a rival to Georgia. 

Raymond Ablack, known for his role as Sav Bhandari on Degrassi, has also starred in the acclaimed web series Teenagers. He also appeared on shows like Maid and Narcos.

• Katie Douglas as Abby Littman

Abby is a member of the MANG group. She is a rebel and known for skipping class. However, she is also coping with her parents’ ongoing divorce. 

Despite her beauty, Abby is very insecure about herself. Like Ginny, she struggles with her poor mental health. Abby likes Press, even though he treats her poorly. When Abby gets excluded from the group, she becomes close friends with Ginny.

Katie Douglas is recognized for her performances in Believe Me: The Abduction of Lisa McVey, Mary Kills People, and Every Day. She has also appeared in Raising Expectations and Freevee’s Pretty Hard Cases. Next, she can be seen in Lazareth.
